Tweet Your Meet!!

Twitter has become an integral part of many peoples lives today. That's why at ScheduleMeOnline , we've integrated with Twitter to allow you to share with your followers when and where you've scheduled an appointment or meeting.

Not only can it post a Tweet when you make an appointment "Just scheduled an appointment at ...", but at the time of the appointment ScheduleMeOnline will automatically post for you stating that you "are currently at (Business/Calendar Name).

Setting this feature up is simple. After logging in to the site, you will be brought to the Members area. You will notice a 'Sign in with Twitter' button located on top right of the page.

After clicking the button, you will be directed to Twitter so that you can log in and authorize ScheduleMeOnline to post Tweets automatically for you.

That's it. Your Twitter account is then associated to your ScheduleMeOnline account and you can now select appointments to be Tweeted.

Calendar Business Name Field Added

We have added an additional field on the calendar setup for Business Name. Now when you Tweet an appointment and/or sent out email confirmations, they will show the Business Name if it is provided for the online schedule.

Schedule Me Online - Launching Beta Soon!!

ScheduleMeOnline.com is launching beta. ScheduleMeOnline provides free online scheduling for your business, friends and family. The service offers many key features with more to come. These features include, friendly url's, multiple schedules, Twitter integration, calendar friends, and much more.

How It Works
You simply sign up for a Free Account and select a user name and password. The cool part is that the user name you select becomes your web address. For example, if you select 'JensMassage' as your user name, people can access you schedule by going to www.ScheduleMeOnline.com/JensMassage. These are commonly referred to as a vanity or friendly url.

Once a user goes to your calendar, they'll be able to see what times have been reserved so that they can select an open time slot. Once an appointment is made, changed or cancelled, you along with your client (or friends/family) will receive an email with a summary of the appointment details. Users will also the ability to send you (the calendar owner) a direct message straight from the scheduling page if they have any questions.

Some Additional Features
I won't be able to explain all of the features in this post. However, in future post I'll go further in depth. Here is a quick overview of some things that we offer.

As mentioned previously, friendly url's makes it easy for you to give out your schedules web address to clients, friends and family.

Multiple schedules allow for you to not only have one schedule you can share, but numerous schedules. These can be used however you like. One could be for your business, others could be to share information with friends and family.

Don't worry...you can make your schedules public or private. So if you don't want your clients seeing your personal calendar, you can make it private.

Public announcements make it easy to notify people of events or business day closings or anything that you would like to announce. Perfect example is a soccer coach. They could post practices on the schedule as a public announcement. So players or parents can go to the schedule to see what time or where practice is going to be.
